September 16 - Good Fengshui 2day?

Today must be special auspicious day and good fengshui moment. Why? Answer is below, continue reading.

Sarawak River and Waterfront re-visited today.

The Waterfront has now become a favorite place for tourists and locals.

Because so, the scenery is often appreciated and photographed.

New DUN, today is top-up ceremony and the date must be specially fengshui-chosen? On 16 September 1963, Sarawak joined the Federation of Malaysia.

Riverboat cruise offers tourist a glimpse of Sarawak River and Kuching vicinity.

Open deck cruise boat, have you tried it? No traffic jam to beat.
.
The Chinese old temple architecture contrast the modern design of New DUN (under construction).

Place of worship contrast a placeof legislature. Religion vs Politics.

Daylight version of the Astana, next to new DUN (compare with night version of earlier post).

One part of Waterfront feature, along the Main Bazaar drive.

Few hotels near Waterfront are conveniently popular with tourists and business guests.

Many kampung villagers cross the river by sampan boat as above to shop.

The river crossing is fast, convenient and cheap. It beomes a way of life.

The boatman makes a living each day. Sometimes he takes a tourist for a paid short ride.

and, A COUPLE... ...of local photobugs armed with camera, taking pictures despite wet weather.

...of permanently placed phonebooths, sitting lonely idle.

...of crossed legs (in blue top)waiting in queue for breakfast noodles in very old shop.

...of shopowners having a brief chat before opening for business.

...of unique blacksmith ring locks on woodcrafted sliding grille.

THEN this random flash of image...
The girl in blue top gets her breakfast, and a guy in white with camera/strap joins the queue.

Oh yes, it will be a long queue and wait, makes you more hungry.

Going around shooting photographs in a professional manner (not me, him).

Balcony windows of museum that cannot open. Dead windows?

Play with colours and building forms.

Another colourful building with carparking facilities.

2 bicycles inside front office glass windows?

Graphic window dressing as advertisement and publicity.

Shop with inscribed words already peeling off. So old.
